Η Βασίλισσα Ελισάβετ απαγορεύει στον Πρίγκιπα Χάρι και την Μέγκαν Μαρκλ να χρησιμοποιούν το «Sussex Royal» για κερδοσκοπία

Η Ελισάβετ απαγορεύει στον Χάρι και τη Μέγκαν να χρησιμοποιούν τον τίτλο «Sussex Royal».

Η βασίλισσα Ελισάβετ φέρεται να αποφάσισε να βάλει τέλος στο σήμα «Royal Sussex», που χρησιμοποιούσαν μέχρι σήμερα ο πρίγκιπας Χάρι και η Μέγκαν Μαρκλ.

Μετά από μακρές και πολύπλοκες συνομιλίες, η βασίλισσα Ελισάβετ και οι ανώτεροι υπάλληλοί της συμφώνησαν ότι δεν είναι πλέον εφικτό για την Μέγκαν Μαρκλ και τον Χάρι να διατηρήσουν την λέξη «royal» – δηλαδή «βασιλικός» – στο brand τους.

Today, on International Day of Education, we highlight the importance of access to education for all. The Duchess of Sussex has focused on this both prior to becoming a member of the Royal Family and now as patron of The Association of Commonwealth Universities (@The_ACU_Official). • Working closely with CAMA, both The Duke and Duchess recognise the benefit both personally and to society at large when a young girl has access to education. On their recent tour to Southern Africa, The Duke supported the initiatives of @Camfed on the ground in Malawi ??. • Over the years, The Duchess has worked in developing communities, such as in Rwanda ?? and India ?? , to find the hindrances to girls’ ability to go to school and furthermore to stay in school. These can include lack of access to clean water, stigma surrounding MHM, cultural taboo, and many more reasons.... • As President and Vice President of The @Queens_Commonwealth_Trust, The Duke and Duchess thank all those who are working to give access to education for all. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex joined hundreds of veterans and their families at the 91st Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey, to honour and remember those who lost their lives in service of their country. Their Royal Highnesses each planted a Cross of Remembrance, paying respect to those who have served in our Armed Forces. They were then honoured to spend time meeting with veterans and family members from all areas of the Armed forces - from those who have served in past campaigns to more recent conflicts. This is the seventh time The Duke has attended the Field of Remembrance – having previously accompanied The Duke of Edinburgh for several years. The Duchess of Sussex was grateful to be able to join her husband on this important day and to personally recognise those who have served. #remembrance #lestweforget

This morning, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was christened in the Private Chapel at Windsor Castle at an intimate service officiated by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are so happy to share the joy of this day with members of the public who have been incredibly supportive since the birth of their son. They thank you for your kindness in welcoming their first born and celebrating this special moment. Their Royal Highnesses feel fortunate to have enjoyed this day with family and the godparents of Archie. Their son, Archie, was baptised wearing the handmade replica of the royal christening gown which has been worn by royal infants for the last 11 years. The original Royal Christening Robe, made of fine Honiton lace lined with white satin, was commissioned by Queen Victoria in 1841 and first worn by her eldest daughter. It was subsequently worn for generations of Royal christenings, including The Queen, her children and her grandchildren until 2004, when The Queen commissioned this handmade replica, in order for the fragile historic outfit to be preserved, and for the tradition to continue.
